dear ava,
on our recent trip to colorado to visit your uncle dave, aunt cindy, and new baby cousin kenna, we spent a lot of time outdoors playing in their backyard. we had a barbeque over the weekend and you very much enjoyed sitting in the grass with your piece of watermelon and croquet mallet. very seriously, you would pick each individual seed out of your watermelon before you ate it, and at the same time you guarded that mallet with your life. oh, i just love you.
