double dipper

dear ava,


while we were in colorado you discovered what "dip" is. during our little lunch outing you somehow managed to consume all of my jalapeno tartar sauce, as well as half the table's tzatziki and red pepper hummus appetizers. instead of dipping and taking a bite of whatever was dipped, though, you dipped and licked, dipped and licked, never taking an actual bite of food. so really just ate a bunch of dip for lunch.
